During this past year there has been some changes to the U.S. Product Consumer Commission. Part of these changes have given them more authority towards the safety of toys and other children’s products. This year there has been much improvements to the safety of toys that are found on the shelves of the U.S. However, there are still dangers out there that all parents must be aware of. The biggest hazard still exist which is choking hazards. Toys for children ages 3 and under should not contain small parts. There have been toys found that do not meet this specification. What can you as a parent do to make sure that the toys you get your children are safe. Just be aware of what you are purchasing and what is contained in it. Do not buy a toy just because it is what your child wants. Have a safe and happy holiday season.
