Checklist For Your Childs Future Part 1

In this 3 part series, we will cover things you can do to get ready for your child’s future. It is never too early to start. This section will cover things you can do while your child is in 3rd grade.
Planning: Check out library books about careers that might be of interest to your child. Remind your child that most careers need a college education.
Preparing: Take the learning outside. Go to a park or a museum. Be sure to talk to your child about what you are learning and how it applies to what they are learning in school.
Paying: Ask your employer about automatically contributing part of your paycheck to a savings account for college.
